Dimpled skin suit sub £250?

It may pay dividends to consider why you are considering spending £250+ on specialist kit to shave off a few seconds from your race time when you can use what you have to hand already and just accept you'll be a tad slower as a result. Of course, if you are riding up there with the elite, and there's prize money up for grabs, it might make more sense from an economical point of view to invest in such kit. For amateurs, there's no good reason to buy this stuff, unless you accept it's just for vanity/fitting in.

Are Sky not the only folk using the dimpling technique? If you're able to get your hands on one, there's no chance it'll be cheap!

The Castelli Body Paint range is pretty well regarded, and won't break the bank.

It's this kind of attitude that I always fail to understand. If someone fancies buying a skinsuit, then so be it. I don't know many people who wear them, let alone Just To Fit In!?!

Personally, I have looked into them before. On the basis that sometimes, with the right deal like the OP is attempting to secure, they can often be cheaper than the equivalent quality separate Jersey and Shorts/Tights combo. I am also intrigued as to the difference in comfort from not having bib straps?

Just like people don’t need Engines over 1600cc and 4 cylinders but people own road legal rally/racing cars but can’t drive around a track for toffee.

What you mention here is half of why I want one. It keeps things simple as it’s all in one and still cheaper than decent bibs and a jersey. ;)

I did most of my cycling wearing a skin suit as I found them very confortable, now it is tops and bottoms. Next year who knows could be a suit again, Impsport made me a great one for cross with long sleaves and 3/4 bottoms.

Check out sport pursuit sales, see if they happen to have anything in their cycling sales

Tend to be limited sizes and no free returns but the same looks to go for POC from Ribble

I am under the impression that the OP is looking for a racing suit for TTs. I can tell you from my experience that they are not very comfortable!!! I can hardly stand up straight in my Castelli suit.

Likewise in some of mine if I put on a few ounces. I was more pointing out to those nay sayers, who maybe think you should only cycle in tweed.
