Are you saying I don't have to wear lycra at work??

This is gonna take some getting used to, old habits ... etc ...

Ease yourself into it with dress-down Fridays.

If you are spending long day after day on the bike, wear something with a collar that will protect the back of your neck. Consider long sleeves or sp50 sun sleeves to protect from the sun
Wear fabrics that dry quickly when washed
It’s worth investing in merino wool t shirts/polo shirts. I thought that the fact that they don’t absorb armpit smell was a myth but it’s really true! You don’t need to wash them as often

Mrs. B and I are planning our first tours for a few years, and our old lycra cycling wardrobe doesn't fit as well as it used to ...

As the objective is to tour, to appreciate the countryside and to visit and explore the places on the way, our criteria for some new kit is comfortable pedalling and walking, but which does not attract unappreciative glances.

So what do you folks use, and what would you recommend ?
Contributions from the ladies would be particularly appreciated !!

Thanks !

You can buy “underpants “ that have a cycling “chamois” in them.Great for wearing casual clothing when cycling
