I must admit the cycle lane the put in my area, I could not use on my trike as it was too narrow and I'm glad to say it is now gone

Cycle lanes are supposed to be 1.5 metres wide. If not they lead to more accidents not less. Other than bus lanes abolish them all. They only exists for benefit of car drivers. It amounts to a get out of my way cyclist.
