Do you another good Terry Pratchett book after Mort?

I really enjoyed Mort on Radio 7 (now 4 Extra) and went to audiobooks to choose another having chanced upon Mort on the radio but didn't know which to choose. Once upon a time I tried a Sir TP book but didn't get on with it, though it was a long time ago. Really enjoyed the character Mort.

A chap on Amazon recommends "Rincewind" "The Colour of Magic" and "The Light Fantastic" - cos Death plays a big role.

Which would you recommend next for a bit of Mort enjoyment...does he reappear or only his boss, Death? Thanks

I think they're pretty much all on Audio book now, mostly read by either Nigel Planer or Tony Robinson.
Mort is a cracking book, Mort does re-appear later but not as you think and not in his own book, if you like the death series try Reaper man and Soul Music, very very good books and available as audio oh and Hogfather
All available on Terrypratchett.co.uk btw ;)

The Colour of Magic is a good place to start. In fact, I think that TP's first two books are still among his best, and certainly the most accessible.

Oh and a word of warning, this is a slippery slope you're about to descend, before you know it you'll have the entire collection and quoting DEATH to your mates...
i kid you not.

i started on moving pictures, i've never laughed so much before and it continued through each and every wonderful book ;)
