I take the Times, Mon to Fri and occasionally at the weekend. I tend to busy at the weekend, but have a dedicated 90 mins on the train each working day to read the paper. I quite enjoy it.

I get all my news from Nuts, Zoo and The Daily Sport, well according to some on here

In reality I read the Herald and the Guardian online will flick through any others folk have kicking about when on site. TheSun, Daily Record, Mirror, Daily Star.

On a Sunday I buy the Sunday Times, The Scotland on Sunday and Mrs Greedo likes the Mail on Sunday for the suplements. Don't think either of us have ever read the actually paper.

I had an interview years ago and the guy who owned the company asked me what papers I bought????????????

Told him it was none of his business as I form my own opinion about things. Still got the job!

read it and judge for yourself. They've been laying off experienced reporters since 2005. The paper is now a shadow of its former formidable self.

Mrs BH's father takes the Telegraph - I'll have to liberate it from the recycling box and take a look.

I doubt it has dumbed down to such a level that he can understand though - I'm sure he just gets it in order to find out what time the Miss Marple / Poirot repeats are scheduled on ITV3 that day

We get the Hereford Times (or whatever it's called) shoved through the door once a week. Although that's more a kind of advert for the local WI than anything.

I've not bought a newspaper for many years. I used to get the local paper, then I noticed the price starting to creep up. When I worked out how much I was paying over a week I stopped buying it. I can get all the news and the telly page on the internet now.

I worked for a local newspaper for 32 years and read my free copy every evening. Retired early in july 2006 and can count the number of times I've bought one since on the fingers of one hand (well, two if I'm truthful). The money's much better spent elsewhere. The future of the newspaper, particularly the local ones, looks bleak. The specilised press continues to thrive if the cycling magazines are anything to go by. what publications are read by my forum colleagues?

I used to get the Grauniad daily for donkeys years, read it on the train commute, but it's got bloated year on year by advertising and frivolous crap. Buggered if I will pay in excess of 7 quid a week to read regurgitated pap. So I don't bother now. Occasionally, when commuting by train I may but a imes as it is better written than the Gruaniad, and I hate Murdoch!
