Do you ever wear a skinsuit?

In answer to the first question , no I would not wear a skinsuit, never have. The practical difficulties of comfort stops come to mind.

Skin suits tend to be more expensive as they more specialised. Generally for racing, time trials and triathlons.
Decent jerseys and shorts combos depending on the make will set you back £100-175 ish.
You could go for something from Rapha if you feel flush.

Ime they're no worse than bibshorts for comfort stops. Sure, for a numero dos, you do have to unzip, but I'll have found a loo where I can be seated anyway.

For a widdle in the woods, there's more than enough stretch in the lycra to whap out...

I wore one back in the early 90's for MTB racing
(close representation of club clolours, but not an official one)
On the courses, we used, it was barely worth changing a tube, if I had punctured I'd probably DNF
(can't recall ever puncturing in a race though, even on 1.5" tyres)
