Is it not an odd British thing.
French do very odd things like eat snails or raw beef mixed with raw egg but seem to be quite at ease doing it.

i lift my right heel when i pee, i do not know why, when i catch myself doing it i try to stand with my feet flat and thus lose concentration mid flow then have to go back to my aim only to find my right heel lifted again

and you lot thought you were nuts..

An ex colleague used to have plum tomatoes on his breakfast.
EVERY time, he'd get to the tomato, he'd insert the knife sideways, saw it open so the juice within spilled onto the plate...and say, pirate style....

I have to take regular doses of painkillers, and have to take the pills out of the blister packs in specific order. Paracetamol tend to be arranged in two rows of four either side of a raised ridge in the middle of the blister pack. I have to remove them in pairs either side of the ridge. Same with Ibuprofen in 200mg doses. Codeine comes in various different blisters, but I only take one of them at a time, so I only feel right taking the middle row in a three row blister first and then starting on either side. I'm only ever really happy when the two side rows are matched up.

Mrs Cube tends to take them out randomly if she ever needs them, and the other day she earned a bit of advice as she'd taken two out from completely random parts of the blister. She thinks I've got my knob in the Jacobs.

I always put on my left sock on before my right sock, my left shoe before my right shoe too. Its very bad luck to put your right sock or shoe on first you know.

I sleep with my right hand under the pillow, hubster says that that is weird. He pokes his feet out of bed when he sleeps, that is way weirder IMO.
