Why would I want to hold my own hands?

No hand-holding — my arms are rather long, and therefore my hands are about 8 inches lower than Mr Radger's, so it's hideously uncomfortable for both of us.

Exactly. My six year old is not beyond holding my hand in a very masculine bonding sort of way. My nine year old will not hold my hand anymore in public but is very tactile in private. On the rare occasion I get to hold my other half's hand these days it is like being 17 again.

Voted for hold hands but we rarely do. Typically my better half wraps her arms around one of my arms & rests her head on my shoulder.

I remember that on one of my first dates the girl I was with mentioned that her hands were cold. Gallantly I offered to let her wear my gloves, only to find out later that she was looking for an excuse to hold my hand.

Occassionally hold hands when walking, if looking in shop windows and she puts her arm around mine with head on my shoulder, I know it's going to be expensive!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

hahahaha not any more, 25 years together soon stops that

"celebrated" 40 year 3 weeks ago and we still hold hands - although she says it's to stop me falling over or wandering off.

It is one sure way that I know that Mr Cat has had far much to drink and it is time to go to bed when he started holding my hand or putting his arm round me in any slightly romantic way (to clarify that is going to bed for him to sleep it off and no other reason )
