I haven't noticed, I suspect getting towards the end of a ride pretty ripe, just out of the shower probably nice to get close to, I only use unscented baby talc, the rest of the time I don't know but I've had no complaints from my Good Lady.

I read some research years ago that suggested the first sign of a relationship breakdown is when you stop liking the smell of your nearest and dearest.
I'm sure Tindr would be more effective if we had an internet of smell.

I don't use after shaves or cologne. Have not done for years and years. Neither do I stink. Just wear clean clothes and shower every morning
and that's about it really.
I've even had one of the girls at a place I do work for tell me I always smell nice.

I also never use washing power that imparts a scent to the clothes. What's the point of that ? Surely clean clothes just need to be ..............well clean. Not stinking of some pretend odour of a summers day.

While I agree with you, I do like it when you put the clean duvet cover on, or clean towels in the bathroom, and they smell nice

40 degrees in some parts of work today so quite sweaty, plus oil and diesel, the occasional wiff of sewage. Actually a day not smelling of diesel is a bonus.
It's not a case of 'like' more "don't really notice". But then I'm not having to try and not offend anyone as at the end of a working day they don't smell any better.

Do appreciate a scrub in the shower afterwards though.

My sister always had a somewhat sickly cheesy smell to her. Never did find out what it was.

There was also a girl at school who always smelled awful to me, poor girl, I must have given her such a complex. I apologised to her on Facebook a year or two back, and never got a reply back (I can't imagine why...... But at least my conscience is now clear)!!:blush:

Anyway, at a (much) older age I first really started to notice it properly when I was with people in bed - Mainly the smell of sour milk.
To that end (pardon the pun), I rarely drink milk now as I assume I must have smelled the same.

My test of a good cologne? It kicks back in when you get a good sweat on.

In what way is a very real scent from a very real cologne 'pretend'? ;)
