It was actually even worse yesterday because I had to unblock the drain grate in the barn due to it being blocked with a nice mix of very dark water and stuff animals drop from their wotsits The rope that was attached to the grate snapped so I was arms deep in the lovely goop to drag the grate out and get the fluids flowing again

Could be worse

As a teenager I fancied being a Vet

Our Careers teacher managed to find me a post with a local vet

He met my parents and explained that if I ws going to make an informed decision I would have to do the unpleasant stuff as well

So....

Spending an hour at 03:00 stripped to the waist in a barn with your arm up a cow's "bits" to feel the calf so we could turn it for a normal birth was oneof the highlights - especially when the cow empties its bowels
