I bet it'll still be better than Starbucks.
Their 'brew' emanates from a lower organ I fear.

Like Maz i had to Google this. Didn't this used to be called skateboarding ????
Longboarding is to skateboarding as downhill mountain biking is to BMX.
Longboarding is to skateboarding as riding a vicar's bike to the shops is to riding a carbon-framed race bike.

Not managed to go fast enough to fall off at speed yet and bruise anything, mainly stepping off at walking pace. I'm a slow learner!

if you get one make sure you get one with a "kicktail" these are more manouverable, and some nice large soft compound wheels that roll over any rough surfaces.
Sound advice. Or at least that's what others told me to buy.

Better wheels can make all the difference if your local roads have a rough surface.

I've had mine for about 6 years and I use it every now and then for either a quiet cruise through the park or nipping around to a mate's for a beer or two.

Took it to the skate park a few months back. Kind of interesting to try and carve wall sections on a 48" board.

Not dead yet. Even though my longboard has four wheels numpty drivers still shout things at me.

"You mind my car!" (I'm learning in a variety of local car parks of an evening) "Which car is yours?" (there were three in the car park at this stage all well away on the otherside from me) "That one" points to car furthest from me. "Ok"

Two minutes later said car exits car park via the entrance having completely ignored the one way rules to get there.

and for the record... the Swansea - Mumbles off-road cycle route? Perfect for longboarding imo. Perfect. I may have to get the Aged P sent to hospital to test this out.
