Why can we only choose 1 option?
I own all 3 of those consoles and more...

If the above statement didn't give it away, i'm a pretty big gamer. I prefer shooting and driving games but I dabble in others.

COD is probably my most played game, I team up with friends and play online. We communicate out positions and enemy movements to take them down. K/D ratio is just over 2.5 at present.

Poll needs amending. I've voted PS3 as it what I use most, but we have a Wii as well.
FWIW I don't play online, I've have never got into and have never enjoyed it when I've tried, so I, (ahem), play with myself

Credit card details. I don't think you can use yoru credit card on the PS3 or Wii. Well, abit annoyed that it was sooo easily hacked in Japan the sony PS3. All game saves GONE, still though fun to play them all AGAIN! lol
The two systems basically do the same things. But for someone that games at what I would call a pretty high level, a few things make a key difference between the two systems.

The PS3 controller is nowhere near as comfortable to hold and use as the Xbox one for long periods of time. Getting cramps in the hand is a bit of a problem when your trying to win a game.

Communicating on the PS3 is not as easy. For starters you don't get a mic with the console and most of the aftermarket ones are rubbish. Where as with my xbox it came with a mic and setting up party chats, private chats etc.. is pretty easy and they work well.

The gamers on the Xbox are generally of better quality. Making it a challenge to control and win a game easily. On the other hand, games like call of duty and battlefield on the PS3 are pretty easy online.

I've got a PS3 and a Wii (although i couldn't vote for both  )

Very rarely use either, PS3 definitely more for blu-rays and lately a bit of streaming films from Lovefilm's free trial. I have also got F1 2011 for xmas so playing a little bit of that too.

I used to play call of duty but one day my 13 year old daughter came downstairs and asked me how the game went. I asked her how she knew I was playing, she said because she heard me shouting "DIE DIE DIE DIE" - time to call it a day I thought

Xbox and PS3 mainly for me,although i did buy a new PC a couple of months back so have been taking advantage of the last Steam sale.Finished Portal last night and loved it,so it's on to the sequel next.
BattleField 3 hasn't come out of my 360 since its release and Gran Turismo 5 on the PS3 has got me hooked again.

If I did, I would never get out of the house. Almost all the people I used to know who spent a lot of time playing video games inevitably got more unfit and unhealthy over time, and less sociable and less engaged in life in general. Since I am someone who is prone to both laziness and addictive behaviour, I'd rather not give myself the opportunity.

IL-2 sturmovik for many years, Squadron leader of a virtual online squadron (EAF92 squadron) Not played now for over a year :gun:

Interesting - I tried IL-2 but found the flight model really different to European Air War, couldn't get the hang of it and pretty much gave up with it after a couple of goes. Haven't done EAW online, but I know there are people who talk about it on the various simulation forums.

I flew EAW for many years too, it was the game that started me off in combat flight simulations, IL-2 was far and away better, but the newer version is utter cr@p to say the least

I love the racing games, thats why gran turismo attracted me. Had a go on a friends f1 game and loved it, will have to get that. but cod and mw have too many button and toggle movements to keep my interest in learning how to use the controler. I dont get much time when I do have a play, so want to just get playing when I do.

The only console game I ever liked was Burnout 2. Even the subsequent Burnout releases couldn't compare to 2.
