Drops for me. More hand positions.

Drops - more hand (and by extension body) positions, prefer the shifting format although tbh haven't used any modern flat bar alternatives.

I have neither drops not flat bars on my recumbent. Is your mind blown yet?

Flats are perfect ... providing you never cycle into headwind, never ride up any hills, and don't mind putting extra effort in to go the same speed,
and of course if you never want an alternative hand position. All these caveats only apply to wannabee racers and don't apply to ordinary cyclists

Depends on what kind of biking I'm doing. For road biking I prefer drops. For mountain biking I prefer flat or bars meant for mountain biking. First, they need to be wider than road bars. And for added hand positions I put bar ends on them.
