Well, if you never leave home without a kit kat, putting the keys on top means you won't forget them either.
(kitkats are my secret love. Tried to stay away from Nestles products, but vending machines at train stations are my undoing)

Alas no. I have a fair bit of previous. When I was a student, I staggered out of bed and attempted to shave with my Hewlett Packard calculator. My flatmate pointed out my mistake.

Yup. HP calculators used reverse Polish notation. Should have been
Face, HP calculator: shave.

HPs were black. I had a Braun shaver, also black.
FFS, anybody could have made the mistake! Adnams and Moroccan soapbar had absolutely nothing to do with it.

Fridges retard the ripening process, which is good if you have too many and don't want them going off, but bad if they're unripe and need to mature. So as a rule I don't put them in the fridge. I don't want to 'hold them back', I want to eat them. But if I bought a heaving great sack of 'em, I might. But I would still be sure to remove them in time to give them time to get to room temperature before I actually ate them. They taste much better and they don't make your teeth hurt. Sorry, boring, not funny. But true, I think.

Some years back IIRC, a regular dousing in cold water was recommended to improve, ahem, sperm count, but putting them in the fridge was reserved strictly for the most agile.I tried putting my plums in the fridge but it really hurt when I shut the door !!!!

Ones plums need to be kept below body temperature, which is why they swing to and fro (well, you have to bend your knees a bit and rock your hips).
