My '88 Saracen was used today when GF and I took granddaughters for a trip out to see the trains at Shackerstone. It's old and heavy but I attach the trailer.
They are starting to get a little too heavy and giving me a better work out.

Found in the Yorkshire hills ...
Mine sort of suit me:

The Secteur's is suitable as an every-day use plus touring/sportive bike. Can-do and will-do (that's me!)
The MTB is unheard of (Python Impact DD) but keeps up with better names easily. (me again!)
The winter hack Carrera Virtuoso keeps going despite looking like a tip, no matter what's thrown at it. (and again)
The 'Lethal Impact' loan bike's me to a tee ... bits of old tat, loosely fitted together and works only when absolutely needing to.

Could I do better with a better bike? Absolutely, but the budget's just not there at the moment.

My 2010 Spec Allez elite would do me very nicely for the next few years as I progress and become a better rider but it doesn't stop me lusting after better! Will my lack of ability stop me getting better if I had the money right now? Nope! It's helping me get fit and if a new bike made me get on it more then that's good enough for me!

Really fancy the canyon with di2, it's £1899 now but lack of funds!!!!
