Well as home is where the heart is, you've chosen to show your affection in the appropriate way:smile:

Mrs F is not keen on unnecessary extravagance (;) cheaper for me!!)
so I spent 76p on a heart shaped piece of chocolate on a stick, wrote her a poem, and left both on kitchen table this morning (I was out to work early) along with a flower plucked from our garden. She sent me a gooey txt msg, so it seems to have done the trick!

Probably a bit late. But if you use sealing wax and ribbon it will look like really fancy paper. If you use sellotape, it will look like you have wrapped her present up in old wall paper.

Also, it depends on the wallpaper, and you should note that woodchip is especially unsuitable for irony.

Also bear in mind that some women see Valentines Day as naff and schlocky and will give you grief for getting involved when there is another 364 days that you could do something special or buy flowers and choccies.

How did it go?
I'm not a fan of Valentines day, although I did get a new bike yesterday, but that was a coincidence.
i tend to wrap my presents in newspaper so old wallpaper sounds nice to me.
