Do you tip? Who do you tip and how much?

When is a barmaid in a busy pub going to find the time to drink it and if everyone did that she'd be pissed.

They don't have to drink it. My brother used to stick all the money people gave him for a drink in a pot behind the bar, then take it home with him at the end of his shift. It's a figurative drink, not a literal one. Although when I worked behind a bar, I used to have the drink.

I'm always willing to give a tip...
e.g. always wear knee-pads when skateboarding. Don't smoke in bed, etc etc.

I can remember my dad usng one of those when I was younger. He said to the waiter "Do you mind if I leave you a tip?". "No, of course not" he replies. "Leave the chips in the fryer a couple more minutes next time!" dad quips before getting up to leave!
