Do you tip?

We went to see Guy Garvey last week in Brum. Went for Thai meal and when we came out it was raining we stopped to fasten coats when waiter came running up. "Do you need these" he asked holding up the tickets I had dropped out of coat pocket. So glad we had left a decent tip. Will leave a bigger tip next time we're in there.

Funny coincidence dept. I'm at work, and was reading this thread in a quiet moment. Then I got called out to deal with some found property (I work in a holiday complex). I located the found item (a wallet) and returned it to the owner's accommodation. He hadn't even noticed it had gone missing, so was delighted that someone had brought it back so promptly. As I was leaving, he opened it and gave me a tip - the first in my life, I think. I was a bit taken aback and refused at first, but he insisted, and so I thought a tenner's a tenner, and took it. Feels a bit weird, to be honest.

Can someone start a thread about winning the lottery, please?
