It's mostly for online purchases, and is as easy as going to the retailer's site via Quidco. It tracks your purchase using a tracking URL, no messy forms to fill in or anything - they pay twice a month direct via PayPal or BACS direct to your bank account.
However, more retailers are beginning to track instore purchases too - you just need to register your card number (not the expiry date or security code). The retailer will then track any purchases you make on your card.
Currently participating are:
- SportsDirect
- Halfords
- Cineworld
- Dorothy Perkins
- Little Chef
- Austin Reed
- Direct Golf
- Feather & Black
- Blockbuster
Halfords is a useful one to know though - I reserved cycle carriers (two pack) with them online, then went and picked them up an hour later. They were about £20 cheaper online but you pay that price if you reserve and collect, plus I got cashback as well as I paid by card. B&Q do the same.
Have a look at the retailers on there - Asda, Tesco, Amazon, M&S, HMV, play.com etc. - could be useful in the run up to Christmas if you plan on doing any shopping online.
