My kit comes in the shower with me after every ride. I hang it up in the bathroom and it is dry for the mornings ride. It goes in the wash at the end of the week.

Leave your shoes outside then....like I do......sometimes. ;O)

I do have underfloor heating throughout the house and that is great for drying shoes.

When you are as old and decrepit as I am you don't have to worry about sweating. It just isn't an issue. But you can't escape muck and smells. The other thing about being old and decrepit is to wash it whilst you remember. Home and stash the bike, somewhere. Eventually find the back door. Into the house. Mine hopefully. Gear in the washing machine/dishwasher. Go shower. And then come back, eventually, and try to work out how the b*.< .* y machine works.

I use Decathlon padded undershorts under unpadded 3/4 lengths, I have half a dozen pairs of these, and wear Marino tops, so I only need to do a cycling kit wash once a week. Everything gets washed in soap, not detergent, and no one goes near my merino except me:ninja:.
