Paris Brest Paris was completed on one a few years back. Of course if you’d prefer to use your bike…
While legal tbh I can't see much practical difference between riding something like that on the pavement and a full-sized bike.. bellend factor aside I'd not feel comfortable doing so.

I don't think I've ever seen anyone on one of those. I know they exist, and I've read about them - but I don't recall ever seeing one.
Yes I've seen plenty of the small wheel ones but I'm not sure I've seen one like the one illustrated.

I'm no expert but Id class that as an alternative cycle (like a hand cycle) as its got a mechanism to turn a crank.

I'm going to guess that Elliptigos are pedal cycles. They've got pedals, and pretty much all the bits that make a bike a bike. Except a saddle.
I've seen a couple of them out and about. But not recently.
