Does CycleChat have too many non-cycling related threads?

Please don't overdo it though Shaun. I've been dipping into Bike Forums and have come to the conclusion that there are too many different sections there. (Take a look at it though because it might give you a few ideas for changes here.)

Had a quick look & I'll agree
There's one on there asking about lights for riding in the dark. When else would you use them?

Reason for going to Doncaster.
Train from london goes through it back up north

I have the feeling that CC is moving in the wrong direction. I would like to see all non-cycling sections removed EXCEPT for the cafe.

Why don't you just ignore the ones you aren't interested in?

low visibilty such as mist or rain , fog perhaps. there is a difference beteween lights used to see with and those used to be seen.

those were the 'good old days' of Bonj, Arbitrary, Linford, etc who may have had strong opinions but it was all entertaining and fun and no-one took each other or the banter seriously.

It's never been the same since the characters left. Now we get people asking each other what they are wearing and what they have for breakfast or lunch. ffs.

What y'wearing then? I'm wearing trousers and a t-shirt ... oooh! They're gorgeous! So soft! What y'wearing then? c'mon ... you know you want to tell me! I'm eating a big succulent banana ...
