If it wasn't for the thousands of non cycling posts I've made in the past I'd never have gotten back into cycling as much as I have. It sometimes takes a good community to bring it out.

I am now planning on getting my first imperial century under my belt, probably on a Brompton, whereas when I started here I was on about 3 miles each time the car needed a service!

Pies cost a shocking £6 at Wembley Stadium. It took three halves of rugby league last Saturday before I caved in to my craving.

Count your blessings. I went to Earls Court motor cycle show in 1979 and pork pies cost a whopping £1.50 and a can of coke was a quid. I went hungry and thirsty.
