Reminds me of my eldest who likes to amuse herself by suddenly shouting 'Cat!', which makes the dog explode into a barrage of hysterical barking, along with staring out the back trying to spot the intruder, accompanied by 'er indores trying to calm her down: 'There is no cat. No cat.' Which makes about as much difference as you might imagine...

My 16 year old Jack Russell died in November 2012, i still miss her. She only cost me a fiver and i always said it was the best fiver i've ever spent! I toyed with the idea of not getting another dog, well at least for a few years as i wanted a break from the commitment, and the dog hairs, but an elderly lady was having to part with her 1 year old cross JR/other terrier,as he was too boisterous for her,so we took him in and he's led in his basket in front of the fire as i post.
