That's a good idea. Eventually the dogs will get too fat to be able to chase cyclists :laugh:

Once saw a terrier like dog sitting outside a load of gypsie caravans about 200 yards away on the grass verge of a country lane. I decided my best course of action would be to peddle as fast as I could to give me the best chance of escape as I passed it. When I got there going hell for leather I realised it was a white plastic donkey plant pot holder!! Panic over

A timely warning though. The op doesn't want to waste his sausages on bushes shaped like dogs or bounce a sausage off a toddler he mistakes for a hound.

If you cycle through a park just go slowly enough so that you can stop if something jumps out. Things don't jump put from nowhere and I think when we are sharing space with pedestrians and dogs it is our responsibility to give way.
