i have never had any issue getting a bottle from the frame, im not a fan of seat mouted bottles, personally I would rather have the weight as low as possible, when the bottles are full does it effect handling to any degree?
I was behind someone on the Dunwich dynamo who had one like this
At some point, the bottle bounced out of it, and he didn't notice. Of course, with 200 people behind him, he got it back.
Also, I can imagine needing four bottles in Australia or South Africa etc, where the weather is hot and the distances between taps can be long, but Manchester?
I've thought about getting something like this, but I haven't seen one that would allow me to still use a wedge pack (and access it). I can only carry 1.25l on the frame because the seat tube cage will only take a 500ml bottle. Personally, I don't care what they look like. I'd rather be properly hydrated (and not overheated from carrying a hydration backpack).
