A mate of mine used to work in a bike shop. Over 10 years ago they used to charge £20+ extra if a dirty bike was brought in to be serviced. (They were not willing to work on a filthy bike, and they were also not a bike cleaning charity!)
An MOT tester once refused to test my friends car besause the inside was so minging.
