Early tan lines

In mid March? No way? Way!

I was lucky enough to take advantage of this morning's fine weather and thought I'd wear shorts for the first time this year. After a pleasant couple of hours on the South Downs, I'm in the shower and behold! A definite line at the leg hem. It's too faint to show in any photo I've been able to take, but it does exist, honest.

Anybody else beat me to it? (no cheating - UK-acquired sun damage only)

No new tanlines from this year due to long sleeves + knee warmers but the lines on the legs still haven't faded from last year. I'm worried they are permanent. Does anyone else have this?

That's what comes of living in the North Crax. That and a silly accent.

More seriously, I usually wrap up in anything less than balmy as I'm a bit precious about my knees, but this morning was easily 13C by 9am and probably crept up to 16-17C by midday with not a cloud in the sky.

My last-years-tan faded around New Year. I had a bit of a scare a few months ago with a big mole on my back getting all shape-changy and itchy. Luckily there's nothing wrong, but I'll be being a little more careful with covering up in proper sun this year.

I have had 2 people in the past week mention that my face has a slight tan. I hadn't noticed until they pointed it out.

Still got mine, Sunday was first showing of legs in warm sun this year.

I've still got last years. I've worn shorts on the bike 2-3 times this year and shorts a couple of times last week and today at work.
I might be topping up the tan next week....
