Leeds is now at the border?

OK, so the M1 becomes A1(M), then A1 before the gates to paradise - but still motorway to all intents and purposes. The M1 does head north away from the south east, which is the main thing. ANYTHING heading away from SE England has to be good.

I guessed them all, apart from M1 and M6, still got 8 right.
I think that's good considering I don't drive and we only ever use the m62.

Not Wholly true and depends on definition of exit ramp. Junction 5 of M25 clockwise has a right hand exit to A21 towards Sevenoaks and Hastings. the Main M25 goes left at this point. it slopes down so is a ramp but is not what you would expect at a junction.

Yeah but, true though that may be, Brandane's nominated paradise is a bit further on.

I don't think anyone has ever suggested Sheffield is paradise. Even the up themselves 'Gods own Country' Yorkshire boasters seem to agree that Sheffield is probably wher God keeps the bins.

Great link. It seems where I grew up is home to the narrowest motorway in the UK. Another claim to fame for Carnforth (Steamtown, Brief Encounter and Cecil Parkinson being the others although we do tend to keep quiet about Cecil these days)
