Electronic driving aids - love, hate or indifferent?

The base model Corsa has a heated steering wheel!

I had a Corsa for a short while and was rather impressed with how far it's come. The build quality, cabin quality, heated seats, nice clear display on the dashboard, start stop engine, LED (or were they xenon?) Headlights and beam lights, and reasonable space for a "small" car, cruise control (doesn't brake though) and auto wipers. I did not know about the heated steering wheel but did not go out of my way to try and find the button for it.

For anyone who complains that they don't like the technology/unreliability of Benz or BMW, yet other cars will have that very same tech in about 10 years time.

Can't stop the march of progress.
