End to end 2010?

Hi - We are doing LEJOG in July. Live in NZ and wondering if anyone could give me advice on wether there is somewhere in the UK (preferably London) that hire touring bikes? Uncertain as to take bikes or buy bikes - so looking for cost effective options really. This touring thing is very new to us so any help would be welcome.

We will be travelling from New Zealand and doing Lejog (bucket list stuff!! Or maybe just madness!!). Intend to start biking 1 July. Really need advice with regards to bikes. Is there anywhere in London that we can hire touring bikes? Alternative is to buy bikes in London or buy in NZ and cart them over!! Any feed back with regards to hiring would be great.

I'm heading off from LE on 28th May - aiming to do it in 10 days. Solo for the first 5 days then the support crew is meeting me in Kendal and heading up through Scotland with me...
There seems to be a few groups setting off in June - the Boardman website mentioned a group setting off from JOG the same week I finish. I'm sure I've seen another big ride setting off not that long after. This years rides may already be full - but you never know someone may have pulled out with an injury...

hi im doing this for action medical research its a charity ride escorted you need raise £2000 for them which covers the cost of the tour and money for them. there are 200 places on this tour it starts 21st may till 30th may 2010

thes do trips from 3 weeks to 9 days

I've no idea if this is the company that someone I know has gone with but I just found out they are currently making their way north as we speak. All baggage is transferred and she is doing it over 3 weeks. As far as I know she didn't even have a bike before she decided to do it.
