Evans price match

I've done it twice. Once for Ortlieb panniers and they knocked the considerable difference off and once for a web order. Submit the request via the online form, and await a response within a day. Then order for delivery or collection. Easy.

I emailed them with the details of the Ortlieb panniers, they emailed back to say they would price match. I went into the store to collect them and they decided to add the postage the shop they price matched would have charged. That wasn't mentioned in the email.

I found Evans also add postage costs when they price match. I had them price match 2 pairs of Ortlieb panniers and they also added the cost of postage which I thought was a bit sneak.

The postage cost that the other company would have charged? Seems fair enough, they are matching the other company's price. Free delivery is usually added somewhere within the price. I've never paid Evans for postage on a price match but think you have to spend a tenner

Think Wiggle do price match as well and their returns policy is better than Evans IME.

Yep they do, I've had matches on a Saturday before
