I wouldn`t fancy being at the top of the dukes pass with the winds we have just now

I was just out for 32 miles in that! Went up Abernyte and all the roads were closed with snow drifts, so about turn it was.
Some very sketchy moments today............
Good solid fun.

To early in the year for me, don`t know what sort of winter we will have and how good the winter training will be...twice ove the dukes pass in March will be enough for me

I'm signing up for this with a few friends. As a beginner it will be my first time riding with others.

Looking for some general do's & dont's from you guys so I don't make a t*t of myself & also is it just the usual gear I'll have to carry?
