Everyday signs that you are "a cyclist"...

I spot people texting while driving when I'm walking around. Always looking out for danger I guess!

I was looking for something on Google streetview yesterday and I noticed someone on their phone .... makes you realise how much you watch out for the tell tale signs all the time.

Went to an Open Farm Day event, weekend before last. We went on a tractor trailer ride to see some cows, milking parlour, fields, etc. On the way down a narrow country lane, sun high in the sky, a gentle breeze wafting through the hair (what's left of it), general countryside smells (no, not those ones) making gentle progress, I suddenly felt like I should be on my bike.

Which I guess comes from the fact that I experience these senses frequently when out on a weekend ride.

I love cycling, I love bikes, I own far too many of them but there are limits - I always look at the girl first and bike second

When out running, I find myself in cycle lanes.
And I always do a life-saver check over my shoulder before turning.

Picking screws and other bits of metal from the road near the kerb or on the pavement and chucking them down a drain at the first opportunity usually when walking the dog. Our neighbour is an electrician and has left stuff on the roadside before.. Someone else's commute perhaps or your own. You never know. Gez

No need to claim it - it is simple a fact. Lycra is the most comfortable clothing and not just on the bike.

Drafting the person in front when you are walking along the pavement and timing your sprint so you can beat them to a certain lamp post.
