@Katherine - one of the delights of CC is in meeting fellow members for a ride. I have made some really good friends through CC Ecosse informal rides - people I would never, ever have met through any other aspect of my life. I have learned so much about 'bike craft' that I can even pass some of it on to others , as it is the CC Way !

I've only joined one ride which was a brilliant day and went further than I would have done on my own. Hope to get the chance to do some more. They're not very practical for me to get to. I can't ask my OH for lifts too often.
I've also got a lot to learn about looking after my bike too.

Here is proof, if proof be needed what smashing folk CC'ers are. At the time of posting that thread I had not been on this site very long, and I have since met some of the folk. Its a great site, with great contributors, just "ignore" the few bottom feeders that post rubbish.
