I bought one for the rear of my etrike in 2022........not fitted it as yet :laugh:

Useful for ebikes but really best only as a temporary measure.
I was tempted but thankfully went with near puncture proof tyres.
I, much of the time, do not even carry a pump or tube now.

Tempted to get one as a "get you home" emergency measure for commuting bike (which can be any one of several with tyres ranging from 30c to 2.6").

It's <5 miles but walking it pushing a bike with a flat tyre is no fun this time of year.

Wouldn't you still have to remove the wheel to get the old tube out?

Interesting idea, I may be interested for the cargo bike. However, isn’t it just as/nearly as easy to patch a standard tube in situ, or am I missing something???

Yes, the first option for an ebike motor hub wheel. It can cometimes be very hard to find a slow puncture though !

By popping the bead off the rim on the non-drive side (easier and cleaner) it is possible to wrangle the tube free of the rear wheel but not the frame to repair...this is the gaddi's strong point
