All in all impressed so far and I have till winter to get it finished.

After moving to Walsall last April, Russell's Cycles is now my local repair shop. Purely by chance, I rescued a 1960s Russell sports bike from a skip six months after moving. I gave it to a cycling friend in Kent (while visiting).

A couple of early morning sessions this week has seen this one got to a ride able state.

First ride this morning was all of a mile and a quarter long and went well , thrown up a couple of areas where a minor adjustment or two are required but all in all very smooth .

Paintwork has only had a light t cutting so far so Patina rules , a few more cleaning sessions should get a shine and then will see .
