The smell of rain washing away the dust after a long dry spell.

After a WHAT????

Anyway; favourite smells.....
The inside of a very OLD car (must have leather upholstery though, e.g. a 60's Rover).
Freshly sawn trees.
Burning leaves in autumn.

That cool and damp smell in the mornings when Autumn starts
Coffee - the proper stuff, not the fossilized floor sweepings known as instant
That pink window cleaner stuff known as Windowlene
Toast

Walking past a Lush store
Walking through a cosmetics\perfume dept like in Boots
These Strong smelling softeners that are all the rage.

Instant headaches for me.

Breweries. Used to be one in central Bristol (now luxury flats), but the mouth watering sell of brewery hops on a summer evening.....

Sometimes when the wind is right we can smell the sea, which is about 20 miles west of us across the flatlands of the Fylde. I guess it's seaweed when the tide is out.

Fresh paint.
Coffee.
Lemon.
The sweet smell of summer rain.
Most cooking.
Most clean /fresh / new smells.

Nothing artificial, including perfume, perfumed candles, room spray etc. I find it hard to find a deodorant that I like.

The remnants of the odour of Scunthorpe as you leave it.
Wet dog.
Virtually any leaves rubbed between your hands. Nettles not being one of them.
Early morning, wet or dry, cold or warm. Preference being cold and damp from frost.
Anything cooking in oil which has had dehydrated tomatoes in for at least one year.
Bacon cooked in the above.
