For me, its the rolling sound of the wheels on absolutely perfect recently laid down road.

It happens so rarely I can't remember what it sounds like. But it was nice.

The machine gun click of a Hope hub on freewheel.

That, underscored by the slight rubbing of disc brakes as my commuter gently closes on the back of a roadie giving it his all.

Of course, this requires a slight downhill gradient, and a long run up, and holding one's breath to downplay the effort involved, but its oh so worth it to gain a standing ovation from the front.

Around about 18 mph there's a hum from the wheels which resonates with the frame. It's still there until about 22. It's like transcendental and that eh......

The screech of my brakes recently seems to get some attention of my new three spoke front wheel.....

I love the sound of my wheels when corning pretty tightly then getting on the gas.
I love the sound of the morning, sounds pretty much of nothing round here early doors.
I love the sound of the 'click click clack, as you drop it down a gear.
I love the sound of my back gate as it closes after a ride - means it's play time with Mini-me.
