Favourite noise whilst cycling

Hearing absolutely nothing but the birds singing. London is just too noisy.

Todays favourite noise was my heart slowing down after 20 miles on tubs in the rain, had a few ping's as well.

Must admit the bird noises are great to listen to as you ride along.

The sound of a couple dozen cyclists on a London commute clicking in their pedals at a set of traffic lights ready to go.

Along with the beeps of two dozen Garmins resuming from auto-pause.

I think for me it has to be that gentle whir of the wheels that you suddenly start hearing when you pick up speed.

I like hearing the spray coming off the tyres when it's raining. Possibly the only positive of cycling in the wet.

Oh and the spray gives an indication of where the wind's coming from.

Meh, when it's raining, all I can hear is the wind blatting my hood against my ears. No doubt where it's coming from... main drawback of the fens

I like the rolling sound of my Synapse (hard to explain but I have two and they both have the same sound, same wheels too, so that may be it), it is even better when I have a tailwind and am going about 20 mph and not hearing any wind blowing in my ears.
