Over the last few years, I have tended to think there is something wrong with me because I just don't find any of the comedy programmes funny at all. I have got to the stage where I think I mustn't be getting the joke for whatever reason. It couldn't possibly be because they arn't funny could it?

Not going off topic, but same here.

Back to ofah, the butterfly episode.

Never really found it 'funny'. Just ok light entertainment.

Every single episode =

"Rodney you plonker..." - check
"Rodney you dipstick..." - check
Some mixed up french phrase - check
Reliant robin back fires - check
Trigger calling Rodney Dave - check

it all gets a bit tiresome after a while ... Not saying it was bad just went way past its sell by date in my opinion.

Fabrique Belgique; plume de ma tante; bonnet de douche.
If it wasn't for Del boys french lessons, I would really struggle to communicate with the locals on my trips to France. Mais oui, mais oui!

They're some right killjoys on this thread.

For me,

Hand glider episode,
Chandeliers
Del enters Rodney for a kids competition - 1st prize holiday in Spain which Rodney wins but doesn't know he is supposed to be 14 years old. Priceless.
The restaurant scam, ambulance and car chase in the Robin Reliant.
The one where Del takes a real beating for Rodney.
Rodney (Dave) is elected Chairman of the local residents association great sketch with Trig
Auction of the Harrison watch.

My all time favourite is "Hull and back"
Yes, like this one too. Unique in so much as it was all shot on film without a studio audience. Best bit was Del chucking the £50,000 over the side of the tower block since he thought it was fake.
I also have a soft spot for the one where they get mistaken for shoplifters and the trio (Del, Rodney& Albert) spend the night stuck in the managers office being held up by a would-be gunman. Priceless scene in which Rodney, desperate for a ciggy, shuffles up to the sleeping robber and takes the packet of fags instead of the gun. Dipstick!.

And there's this priceless Trigger moment from an episode that I can't remember the title:

Rodney: Hello Trig, I thought you were going down the pub with Del

Trigger: Yeah, he said he'd give me a lift...

Rodney (Sudden realisation): Hang on, you live nearer the pub than we do. In fact, you have to walk past the pub to get here!

Trigger:Yeah, but Del said he'd give me a lift...
