I like most, even though I don't eat much pudding these days!

In order, here are my top five:

1). Christmas pudding with custard and rum/brandy butter

2). Gooseberry crumble with custard

3). Rhubarb crumble with custard

4). Bread and butter pudding

5). Fresh fruit salad (my token healthy alternative)

Pecan Pie, made to the attached recipe. It's MUCH easier and quicker to make than one might think, especially if you buy a ready-made pastry case from Tescos!

Serve warm with vanilla ice-cream.

It's a thorough calorie, fat and sugar overload ... but I don't care

You seem to like custard, Dayvo

Interestingly, you don't mention it with Bread & Butter Pudding ... Mr T complained recently when I didn't make custard with it, he said "you always have custard with it" ...

My own favourites, not necessarily in order ...

Lemon Meringue tart
Lemon cheese cake
Apple strudel with custard
Rhubarb crumble with custard ;-)
courgette & carrot cake
ginger cake

& any kind of fresh fruit, but that doesn't count as "pudding"

A good selection, Telemark!

But cake doesn't really count as pudding, or does it?

I love custard, but think it would come into 'conflict' with the warm milk in the B&B pudding!

I forgot to mention treacle sponge pudding and jam roly-poly, both with lashings of custard, of course!

I thought about that, as "pudding" has a specific meaning but can also just mean dessert ... when reading your list, I thought the same, until I came upon the fresh fruit

Will pass on your verdict on the B&B without custard to Mr T , it didn't seem right to me either, but I couldn't quite say why. A bit of ice cream on the side would be much more appropriate ;).
