Just an occasional glass for me. MacAllan's or Bell's with a drop of water. The rest of the time just champagne.
I am not a whisky drinker but was after recommendations for a good one to get my father for fathers day. The wife's grandfather is a whisky drinker and he recommended Glen Moray a single from Aldi. I gave it to my Dad and he was rather surprised at how nice it was, when I told him it was from Aldi he couldn't believe it. Its been in the Mail as one of their top whiskys and won a gold best in class thing as well. Not bad for £15 a bottle. Apparently its one to try if you can pick one up next time you getting your cheap cycle kit.
Is there as much tosh written about whisky as there is about wine, then? It's a flipping drink, broadly similar, some taste a bit nicer than others, depending on your own taste buds. There. That's all you need to know,![]()
Wot I'd alway suspected, thanks Fnaar. I'm going to stick to drinking beer.![]()
Quite like Grants sherry
