There is a small town in Lancashire called Clitheroe whose signs get the same treatment ...

There is a man driving a van round Hebden Bridge with a sign on it which reads Clithero Excavations. I am not sure whether it is an unfortunate typo by the signwriter, or whether the owner of the van is having a laugh ...

You sure it's a man, given Hebden Bridge's fame?

I always giggle when I see how the signwriters have abbreviated Clitheroe when writing it in white paint on the road.: "CL'ROE"

There's a river in Australia that has my surname. Got a pic sent by a friend but don't want to post it as it's quite traceable.
