Had my first ride out on my ebay Specialized Allez and remembered just how much quicker road bikes were than MTBs. It's been 10 years since I last owned a road bike and 4 years since I sold my mountain bike.
A steady 50Km in slipped by in a couple of hours and without any major problems.
Roads have got worse in the last 10 years for sure.
Look road pedals a little tricky at first compared to my SPD MTB pedals.
