I work at a bicycle co-op now, where I can do what I did for the neighbors at scale. I used to retrieve old bikes put out for the garbage and the like, sometimes like new, just hung in the garage for years. I would go through and fix these, and fix bikes for others, but now, it is better to be at the co-op, where I have access to bikes and parts. I also see a wider range of clientele, and I wonder why some parents let their children ride bicycles in such a condition.
