Not really sensible, advisable or anything able but in the 1980s I worked near a meat processing plant...and there were LOTS of flies. We would sit in the engineering stores with cans of WD40, picking them off with jets of penetrating oil
Made a right mess of the parts racking..

Finally I got the evil @#&%! It's been landing on me, buzzing me dare I say even taunting me for five long days!🙄 It landed on a kitchen cupboard right in front of me five minutes ago. I had to act fast, using my phone full on to slam it! I must say out of the three fly eradicating devices I've used this summer, my phone has two kills compared to the fly paper's one and that useless blue supposed fly attracting device's zilch kills, apart from a tiny moth and a solitary fruit fly!
