At Christian Salvesens in the 80s, we used to have a pet food production line and the waste used to attract a lot of flies.
We sat in the engineering stores on a 2 to 10 shift swatting the blighters until one guy grabbed a can of WD40 and hit one bullseye with a deft squirt.
That started it, we were all at it, squirting merrily away every time a fly went past in the parts stores as we chatted idly, lounging in old office chairs that sat around my desk.
It was great...until i came in the next day and all the labels on the parts bins had run and the writing was illegible. Took me ages to sort it out
If it wasn't obvious, I don't give a damn about killing flies.
