That is clever, nay brilliant!

It's rubbish.

I'd give it all up for a theclaud/Tarte Tatin combo... (+ a Tadorna entourage, of course)

Good evening.
I've been kindly directed to this thread by someone, and am now a member of your forum. There's myself and 2 other slightly mad cycle people who are very much up for doing this ride... we're all on racers (LeMond, Trek and Coppi).

Are we welcome to join?

Haven't heard from the young tearaway. I don't think you've seen our safety talk duet yet.........

You've built it up. If it doesn't happen, my disappointment will know no bounds. I think he should be pestered - we can tell him Matt's ordered taxis from the cafe stop to the finish.

Ah! I see Dr Evil has appeared on the list - he's managed to get in touch then. I saw him at the weekend and he had left the pdf of "the basics" to download over several hours - I wonder if someone who still has a dial-up connection is in danger of showing up on a penny farthing?

Will his bike sport an Alexander Graham Bell in that case? Dr Evil needs a full and frank exchange to get the best dial up download speeds...

Dr Evil, whose mode of living verges on the Spartan, confounds expectations when it comes to the wheels. If he brings his road bike he'll be sporting a blowsy Sintesi frame with a mother-of-pearl finish. Thank god he got rid of the bright yellow stem that had the words "Big One" emblazoned along its length...

Can't remember if I've said this before, but regrettably I must again bow out, because I have a flight from Stansted on Saturday morning and doubt I'll get back in time.

November, for sure.
