I've been kindly directed to this thread by someone, and am now a member of your forum. There's myself and 2 other slightly mad cycle people who are very much up for doing this ride... we're all on racers (LeMond, Trek and Coppi).

If he brings his road bike he'll be sporting a blowsy Sintesi frame with a mother-of-pearl finish. Thank god he got rid of the bright yellow stem that had the words "Big One" emblazoned along its length...
